We are only 10 days away from our transfer and while I have nerves of the transfer, I often feel like I am going through the motions of this transfer cycle. I am cautiously excited. With it being our third try and last chance at NEDC there is some pressure for success. I know the NEDC wants us to be successful and we are very hopeful with these embryos. A part of me misses the thought of the relationship we could have had with our first donors. This journey is full of ups and downs. We are ready for our family to grow and our daughter is more than ready and really needs a sibling around here ;)
Shots are going well. I only have 2 left and than I increase my Estrace tomorrow to 3 times a day and that usually makes me a little sick, but it will be worth it.
Things we are doing different this transfer
*Acupuncture weekly and hopefully right before the transfer if we can find a good Acupuncturist in TN. (3 sessions already done)
*Endometrial Biopsy "Scratching" to help improve our chances for implantation (DONE)
*eating fresh raspberries, I know one of those old wives tales but the benefits of raspberries for uterine health actually goes back a long time
*Drinking a Cup of Organic Raspberry Leaf Herbal Tea Daily (Not as good about every day, but most days) will stop 3 days prior to the transfer or prior to US on Monday.
*New Donors with Day 5 embryos that have had PGD testing (Although we do not have the results of the testing or grades at freezing)
* Staying at a new hotel (Hey ya never know what a change of scenery could do)
in 11 days I will be PUPO
Wow... it is coming up quick! Looks like you are doing all the right things already. Another suggestion is to put a warm pack over your belly (above the uterus) up till transfer, and stop after that, as per my acupuncturist.
ReplyDeleteI really pray that this third try is the one for you (and me)!
